Agreement to use Homeo
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, posting a job, accepting work, making or receiving payment, or otherwise using Homeo, you agree to these Terms and any policies referenced here. If you use Homeo for a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.
Platform, not service employer
Homeo's Marketplace Role
Homeo provides technology that helps clients find independent workers, coordinate jobs, hold secured platform payments, and manage marketplace support. Unless expressly stated, Homeo is not the client, employer, contractor, insurer, or agent of any worker.
Important distinction
Clients are responsible for selecting workers and approving completed work. Workers are responsible for performing services professionally, lawfully, and safely.
User obligations
Accounts and Eligibility
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and must protect access credentials.
- Workers may be required to complete verification, KYC, tax, background, skill, or payout checks before receiving jobs or payouts.
- Homeo may suspend or restrict accounts for fraud risk, policy violations, unsafe conduct, chargebacks, repeated cancellations, or legal compliance concerns.
Creating clear work
Bookings and Service Scope
Clients should describe each job clearly, including location, timing, budget, required materials, access limitations, and safety considerations. Workers should review the job scope before accepting or applying and should communicate promptly if scope changes are needed.
Material changes to scope, timing, pricing, or completion requirements should be documented through Homeo where possible to preserve payment and dispute records.
Escrow-style workflow
Secured Platform Payments
Homeo may require clients to fund a secured platform payment before a job begins. Funds are intended to be released to the worker after completion and client approval, subject to fees, disputes, refunds, chargebacks, payout availability, and compliance checks.
- Payment authorization or capture does not guarantee worker performance.
- Workers should not begin work unless the job shows the required payment state in Homeo.
- Homeo may delay release where a dispute, fraud review, payment failure, chargeback, or policy issue exists.
- Platform fees, taxes, gateway fees, and payout costs may be deducted where applicable.
Fairness rules
Cancellations and No-Shows
Cancellations should be made as early as possible. Homeo may apply cancellation fees, refund rules, account warnings, or booking restrictions based on timing, preparation costs, repeated behavior, and whether a worker or client failed to appear.
Resolution process
Disputes
If a client or worker disputes job quality, completion, payment, damage, safety, timing, or refund eligibility, Homeo may review messages, job records, photos, payment status, location context, and user history. Homeo may issue a full release, partial release, full refund, partial refund, credit, account action, or other marketplace remedy.
Trust and safety
Prohibited Conduct
- Circumventing Homeo payments, fees, verification, or dispute workflows.
- Harassment, threats, discrimination, unsafe conduct, illegal services, or property misuse.
- False reviews, fake jobs, misleading profiles, stolen images, or inaccurate credentials.
- Fraud, chargeback abuse, money laundering, spam, scraping, reverse engineering, or interference with platform security.

Disclaimers and Liability
Homeo is provided on an as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Homeo disclaims warranties that the platform, workers, clients, job outcomes, payment flows, or third-party providers will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every expectation.
Homeo's liability is limited to the greater of amounts paid to Homeo for the relevant transaction or the minimum amount required by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
